Bill Benton

Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer of GAINS since 2012, Bill balances a steadfast commitment to healthy business growth and world-class product innovation that drives value for customers. He is dedicated to offering career fulfillment for the GAINS team and instilling a passion for social-responsibility to make a sustainable global impact (check out GAINS social & environmental initiatives). Bill is focused on GAINS continuous improvement methodology, sustaining renowned customer service, and relentlessly pursuing supply chain innovation for both the roughly 500 organizations that have already become GAINS practitioners and future partners.

Recognized as an industry visionary, Bill is known for rolling up his sleeves and applying his expertise to creatively solve complex supply chain challenges utilizing machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced optimization. Bill enjoys fostering teams to help customers transform and optimize their supply chain operations to move forward faster. As a lifelong learner, Bill frequently engages with customers, industry leaders and world changers.

Bill received an MBA, magna cum laude, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and BS and BA degrees, cum laude, in Decision Science and Foreign Languages (French and Spanish) from Southern Methodist University. In 1999, he was awarded the University of Chicago’s Bain Award for Strategy. Bill is also active on the board of an educational charity.
Jeff Gosz

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Jeff is the driving force behind strategy and execution across business disciplines with a keen focus on innovation and customer success. His passion for delivering substantial operational improvements to GAINS’ customers via automation, AI and machine learning leverages deep expertise in the industrial distribution, manufacturing, and retail industries.

Jeff holds an MBA from the University of Chicago with honors, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, where he was awarded the Walter P. Murphy fellowship, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin.

Dave Shrager

Chief Revenue Officer

As the Chief Revenue Officer, Dave leads the sales, marketing, and alliance teams to drive growth and expand the company’s ability to deliver global customer value. Dave has an unbridled passion for customer success and a long history of helping customers leverage technology to drive tangible value and transformational outcomes.

With more than 20 years of supply chain and enterprise software industry experience, Dave joins GAINS having held leadership positions with Coupa, LLamasoft, and Oracle.  He has also contributed in key roles with high growth technology startups including Authentica, Outstart, and Responsys. 

Dave received a BS in Business Management from Tulane University.

Geoffroy de Carbonnel

Senior Vice President, Product & Strategy

As Senior Vice President of Product and Strategy, Geoffroy joined GAINS in 2019 with more than 20 years of supply chain optimization experience. He is responsible for driving strategic initiatives and solution innovations, including priorities for the GAINS product innovation roadmap and sustainable growth plans. Geoffroy is passionate about harnessing technology and leveraging artificial intelligence to optimize supply chain performance and automate Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to drive more informed business decision-making. Prior to joining GAINS, Geoffroy was Head of Professional Services for the Americas at ToolsGroup. He also contributed in supply chain leadership positions in industry, consulting, and technology with Honeywell, Axcelis, PRTM, PwC, and Optiant.

Geoffroy has BSEng in Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and an MS in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University.

Leonid Fridman

Vice President, Technology

Leo brings more than 20 years of international and domestic technology development experience to GAINS. In his role, he manages both the GAINS software development team and the company’s IT operations department. Leo’s focus on harnessing the latest machine learning and artificial intelligence into the design, architecture, database, quality and sustainability of the GAINS supply chain performance optimization platform to serve customers today and into the future. 

Leo is a creative problem solver that leverages a practical approach to innovation and user experience that is based on firsthand experience as a GAINS senior software engineer and project team leader.

Leo received an MS degree from the National Technical University of Ukraine and an MBA in MIS from the University of Illinois in Chicago.

Willis Wendell

Vice President, Process Innovation

As Vice President of Process Innovation, Willis is focused on helping customers transform their multi-enterprise network planning to automate and accelerate visibility, velocity and value between trading partners. In addition to leading the GAINS early-adopter and customer collaboration initiative, Willis is also focused on process improvements to increase scalability, streamline customer support, and accelerate new customer onboarding.

Prior to his current role, Willis spearheaded the GAINS Customer Support organization dedicated to rapid onboarding, on-time deployment and helping customers confidently achieve their desired business outcomes.

Willis received a BA from the University of Vermont.

Jason Xiahou

Chief Financial Officer

Jason joined GAINS in 2020 and is responsible for leading and further developing the financial, accounting, and operational infrastructure to pave the way for rapid and efficient company growth to support a global customer and employee base. Prior to joining GAINS, Jason was a Vice President at Francisco Partners, a growth and private equity investment firm with over $24 billion in committed capital. He has been involved with several technology companies, including serving on the boards of directors of PayScale and Nextech. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in their technology investment banking group, where he advised high-growth companies on key strategic transactions.

Jason holds a B.S. in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Operations Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude.
