As Chief Executive Officer, Joe is responsible for leading a team that is passionate about delivering meaningful business outcomes for clients and establishing a culture for our employees and partners based on a shared vision and values.
Prior to joining GAINS, Joe has held global, executive roles at enterprise software companies E2open (NYSE:ETWO) and RedPrairie (now Blue Yonder) and has also held leadership roles at technology startups Corvisa, Empower and Software Architects. In the past 25 years he has led global sales, digital marketing, professional services, logistics as a service, product development and customer success teams. He is a committed supply chain industry veteran with experience leading organizations as they scale and experience rapid growth.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Computer Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
As Co-Founder of GAINSystems, Bill balances a steadfast commitment to customer success, healthy business growth, and world-class product innovation to drive tangible results for customers leveraging the GAINS Supply Chain Performance Optimization Platform.
From 2012 to 2022, Bill served as Chief Executive Officer of GAINS following earlier roles in professional services and product/algorithm design; he is widely recognized as an industry visionary known for rolling up his sleeves and applying his expertise to creatively solve complex supply chain challenges across hundreds of organizations utilizing machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced prediction & optimization. Bill enjoys fostering teams to help customers transform and optimize their supply chain operations to move forward faster and has instilled a passion for social-responsibility to make a sustainable global impact (explore GAINS social & environmental initiatives).
Bill received an MBA, magna cum laude, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and BS and BA degrees, cum laude, in Decision Science and Foreign Languages (French and Spanish) from Southern Methodist University. In 1999, he was awarded the University of Chicago’s Bain Award for Strategy. Bill is also active on the boards of an educational charity and a sustainability-focused manufacturer aligned with the Environment Bamboo Foundation (https://www.bambuvillage.org/).
As Chief Operating Officer, Jeff is the driving force behind strategy and execution across business disciplines with a keen focus on innovation and customer success. His passion for delivering substantial operational improvements to GAINS’ customers via automation, AI and machine learning leverages deep expertise in the industrial distribution, manufacturing, and retail industries.
Jeff holds an MBA from the University of Chicago with honors, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, where he was awarded the Walter P. Murphy fellowship, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin.
Affiliated with GAINS for two decades, Chandler joined the company in 2020 to guide the application of visionary methods like AI and machine learning to improve GAINS customers’ supply chain performance. Chandler is also an Associate Professor in BI Norwegian Business School’s Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Chandler teaches machine learning at the executive, EMBA, and MSc levels.
Chandler holds a Sociology Ph.D. from Stanford, a Statistics MS from Stanford, a Social Science MA from the University of Chicago, and an Economics BA from the University of Washington. He has extensive operations consulting experience and began his career managing Beijing operations for a Shanghai startup.
As the Chief Revenue Officer, Dave leads the sales, marketing, and alliance teams to drive growth and expand the company’s ability to deliver global customer value. Dave has an unbridled passion for customer success and a long history of helping customers leverage technology to drive tangible value and transformational outcomes.
With more than 20 years of supply chain and enterprise software industry experience, Dave joins GAINS having held leadership positions with Coupa, LLamasoft, and Oracle. He has also contributed in key roles with high growth technology startups including Authentica, Outstart, and Responsys.
Dave received a BS in Business Management from Tulane University.
Jason joined GAINS in 2020 and is responsible for leading and further developing the financial, accounting, and operational infrastructure to pave the way for rapid and efficient company growth to support a global customer and employee base. Prior to joining GAINS, Jason was a Vice President at Francisco Partners, a growth and private equity investment firm with over $24 billion in committed capital. He has been involved with several technology companies, including serving on the boards of directors of PayScale and Nextech. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in their technology investment banking group, where he advised high-growth companies on key strategic transactions.
Jason holds a B.S. in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Operations Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude.
As the Vice President of Solution Strategy, Jeff is focused on expanding the GAINS solution to bring further innovation and capabilities to meet the ever-changing needs of global supply chains. His leadership and expertise direct the company’s solutions to align with the market’s needs and continue to deliver superior value to our customers.
Jeff is a widely recognized expert in the supply chain industry, having served as the co-founder of CHAINalytics, as well as in leadership positions at supply chain software companies i2 Technologies and LLamasoft, and decades in Industry at GM and IBM. Prior to joining GAINS, Jeff was the Vice President of Solution Strategy at Optilogic.
Jeff has a Master in Business Administration in Materials & Logistics Management from Michigan State University.
Leo brings more than 20 years of international and domestic technology development experience to GAINS. In his role, he manages both the GAINS software development team and the company’s IT operations department. Leo’s focus on harnessing the latest machine learning and artificial intelligence into the design, architecture, database, quality and sustainability of the GAINS supply chain performance optimization platform to serve customers today and into the future.
Leo is a creative problem solver that leverages a practical approach to innovation and user experience that is based on firsthand experience as a GAINS senior software engineer and project team leader.
Leo received an MS degree from the National Technical University of Ukraine and an MBA in MIS from the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Vice President, Revenue Operations
Emily joined GAINS in 2021 and is responsible for guiding revenue operations while laying the foundation for a rapidly growing global customer base. Prior to joining GAINS, Emily was Sr. Director of Global Sales Operations at LLamasoft. She has been in leadership roles with several technology companies during her career, including Torrent Consulting and ForeSee.
Emily holds a B.S. in Economics, Finance, and Management from Lake Superior State University.
As the Vice President of Corporate Development, Jason is responsible for the company’s next-generation customer engagement strategy. He continually identifies new processes and investments to provide rapid time-to-value for its customers. Jason’s customer-focused leadership is expanding the company’s industry-leading engagement model to reach an ever-growing global market for its supply chain solutions.
Jason has over two decades of leadership positions at high-growth technology companies, focusing on corporate development, operational excellence, and product strategy. Before joining GAINS, he served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Versapay and held senior management roles at TrackX and Descartes Systems Group.
Jason has a Master of Applied Science in System Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

As Vice President of Partner Enablement, Willis is focused on onboarding, enabling, and supporting the success of the GAINS global partner community. He is responsible for supporting our continued channel growth, partner certification, and engagement programs, and driving high standards of excellence through our expanding network of qualified service, delivery, reseller, and channel partners.
Prior to his current role, Willis served as our VP of Process Innovation where he led the advancement of our product offering for multi-enterprise network planning to automate and accelerate visibility, velocity and value between trading partners. In his tenure at GAINS he has led process improvements to streamline customer support, increase scalability, and pilot new initiatives through customer early adopter programs.
