Customer Results Drive Record Growth for GAINS in 2025 as Supply Chain Leaders Adopt Decision-Centric, AI-Powered Platforms

GAINS news press release

Customers achieving significant performance improvements across their supply chains drive record adoption of the GAINS platform and leads to strongest quarter in company history

Atlanta — February 24, 2026 – GAINS, a supply chain performance optimization company, closed 2025 with its strongest quarter in company history, driven by accelerating demand for its intelligent, decision-centric supply chain systems that help its customers adapt to volatility while improving service, capital efficiency, and profitability.

2025 was a year defined by record customer performance results. Across manufacturing, distribution, and service-intensive supply chains, GAINS customers reduced inventory, improved service levels, strengthened working capital efficiency, and improved the reliability of their operations. With GAINS Proven Path to Performance, customers see rapid and measurable results which drives adoption of additional capabilities such as its new AI-powered Lead Time Prediction.

“In today’s environment, supply chain leaders are not simply looking for better planning tools,” said Dave Shrager, CEO of GAINS. “They are looking for systems that help them make better decisions every day. Our Decision Engineering & Orchestration Platform (DEO) , powered by AI agents, enables organizations to align strategic, tactical, and operational decisions to drive measurable performance improvement. When our customers improve service, reduce inventory, and increase the reliability of their decisions, it shows up in our results.”

Decision-Centric Innovation Drives Customer Impact

Throughout 2025, GAINS added a record number of new customers that saw the measurable performance improvement potential from the GAINS DEO platform across demand planning, inventory optimization, replenishment planning, supply chain design, and transportation optimization. Existing customers expanded their GAINS platform capabilities to further improve service levels, reduce working capital, and increase responsiveness by dynamically adjusting inventory policies, forecasting assumptions, sourcing strategies, and fulfillment decisions. GAINS ended the year with a record number of customers holding multiple investments across its portfolio.

Customers expanding their GAINS capabilities in 2025 included Honda, Keurig Dr Pepper, Continental Battery, MJH, Border States, Belron, TW Metals, Reece, ACR, and Rexel, among others.

AI Applied Where Decisions Drive Performance

In 2025, GAINS significantly expanded its AI strategy by embedding machine learning and intelligent agents directly into decision workflows across its platform. Years of domain expertise in forecasting and inventory optimization provides the DEO Platform with the strong foundation required to train AI solutions.  This has enabled GAINS to deliver AI-powered capabilities that:

  • Generate accurate lead-time predictions which yield immediate inventory cost reductions.
  • Enhance demand predictions based on internal and external data that improve forecasts.
  • Assist planners in evaluating scenario trade-offs to make faster decisions.
  • Learn from buyer best practices to automate replenishment and purchase order decisions.
  • Continuously refine policies based on real-world performance signals.

With the DEO Platform, GAINS integrates intelligent agents into the core algorithms and workflows that drive supply chain decisions. Some agents operate in an assistive capacity, guiding planners through recommendations and simulations. Others enable increasing levels of automation in defined execution environments.

“2025 validated our approach,” Shrager said. “Customers that embedded AI into planning and design decisions saw tangible improvements in service reliability, inventory productivity, and financial performance. This is not about experimentation. It is about execution. In one deployment, a customer achieved a $21 million inventory reduction alongside an 18% decrease in lost sales, generating more than 900% ROI within months while maintaining business continuity.”

A Discipline of Decision Engineering

As supply chains become more complex and interconnected, competitive advantage increasingly depends on the ability to align decisions across time horizons and organizational boundaries. To help customers respond to increasing supply chain complexity, GAINS also accelerated development of its DEO platform, which integrates planning, design, and execution decisions into a unified decision ecosystem. By combining deep operations research expertise, data science, and embedded AI agents within the hyper-composable DEO platform, GAINS helps organizations engineer smarter decisions—faster and at scale.

“Our role is to help organizations move from isolated models to coordinated decisions, from analytics to action’” Shrager said. “That shift is what fueled a record year for GAINS, and it is the foundation for the results our customers will continue to deliver in 2026.”
