The Product Marketing Director is responsible for strategic position and go-to-market activities across all GAINSystems’ solutions. The role is an integral part of the growing GAINSystems’ Marketing team and assists in promoting products to the marketplace through the creation and delivery of product positioning materials, programs, sales tools, collateral and training activities. During new product launch phases, the Product Marketing Director will work cross functionally to help achieve early launch success and document customer benefits. What You'll Do

  • Develop a deep understanding of market needs and the competitive landscape to shape communication and strategic positioning that differentiates GAINSystems’ solutions.
  • Translate complex solutions and new features into compelling messages that prospects, customers and the sales team will understand, prioritize, and adopt.
  • Contribute in creation, positioning and coordination of thought leadership content for promotional activities to drive lead generation programs and market awareness.
  • Develop presentation materials and speak at industry conferences (tradeshows, Boost Customer Conference, industry analyst briefings, etc.)
  • Develop various sales tools including product presentations, brochures, datasheets, white papers, positioning documents and website content.
  • Become the primary interface between sales and marketing in regards to product positioning and messaging. And provide product subject matter expertise on customer/prospect visits as well as support with creation of proposals and sales presentations.
  • Evaluate market data to develop target market analysis and strategy by solution group, industry, geography, technology platform, etc. to support sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Create and monitor the marketing launch plan to ensure delivery is on schedule and coordinated with work across functional areas to produce the necessary deliverables.
  • Assist in content development and delivery of ongoing sales and partner training activities.
  • Understand, document and influence product requirements through surveys or direct contact with customers, prospects, industry analysts and competitors.
  • Gather, understand and monitor the competitive landscape and general industry information and communicate positioning to the sales organization.

Our Ideal Product Marketing Director Will Have:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, advanced degree is an advantage
  • Requires a minimum 8 – 10 years of related experience
  • Knowledge in Pragmatic Marketing is a plus
  • Background in the B2B supply chain software industry is required
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
  • Strong presentation development and delivery skills are required
  • Demonstrated success planning and proven execution skills are required
  • Sales support experience is a plus
